Your HB Dentist is a website operated by Simple Advertising, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), a marketing company that generates customer inquiries ("leads") for local businesses. This website provides dental information to consumers and connects people who request an appointment with local dental practices. We are not a dental practice and we do not provide dental treatment. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and — importantly — how we share and sell it.
Our Business Model — Please Read This
We are paid by dental practices. When you submit a form on this site, we provide the information you gave us to one or more local dental practices, and those practices pay us a fee for that introduction. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), this is considered a "sale" and a "sharing" of personal information. We want to be direct about that rather than hide it. If you do not want your information provided to a dental practice on this basis, please do not submit a form — you are welcome to use the guides on this site freely without giving us any personal information.
Information We Collect
When you submit a form we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address (if provided), the service you are interested in, your stated urgency, and any message you write. We also record the page you submitted from.
We automatically collect standard web analytics data including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URL, through cookies and similar technologies via Google Analytics.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. We do not ask for and do not want detailed health or medical information — please do not include medical details in the message field.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to match your request with one or more local dental practices and to pass your request to them. We may contact you to confirm or clarify your request. We use analytics data to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
How We Share and Sell Your Information
We provide the information you submit to one or more dental practices in or near your area, and we are compensated for doing so. Once a practice receives your information, that practice becomes an independent controller of it and its own privacy policy governs what it does with it. We do not control how a receiving practice uses, stores, or retains your information.
We also share information with service providers who operate our systems on our behalf, including GoHighLevel (customer relationship management) and Google Analytics (website analytics). These providers are contractually limited to processing data for us.
We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell information to data brokers, and we do not sell information for purposes unrelated to connecting you with a dental practice.
Communications and Consent
When you submit a form you consent to be contacted by us and by the dental practice or practices we introduce you to, by phone call, text message, or email at the contact details you provided. That consent includes contact made using an automatic telephone dialing system or a prerecorded or artificial voice. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask to be removed from our contact list at any time using the details below. Opting out of our messages does not automatically opt you out of messages from a practice that already received your information — you will need to contact that practice directly.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
In the twelve months before the date above, we have sold or shared the following categories of personal information to dental practices: identifiers (name, phone number, email address) and commercial information (the service you expressed interest in). We do not sell or share sensitive personal information.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or to exercise any other right above, email info@yourhbdentist.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain other states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas, have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. Use the same contact details above to exercise them.
Data Retention and Security
We retain form submissions for as long as needed to operate our business and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, and then delete or de-identify them. We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies for analytics. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing cookies will not prevent you from using this site.
